Hyderabad: The eighth day of Telangana Premier Kabaddi League (TPKL) witnessed spectacular action at the Saroornagar Indoor Stadium here on Friday.

If the first match was exhilarating, the second one provided extraordinary kabaddi lessons to a haplessly stranded Mancherial Tigers, whose game-plan went for a toss against Warangal Warriors, who seemed to make no mistake on the day.

Such was the clinical precision with which they executed their demolition act that the Warriors made mincemeat of Tigers to post an imposing 61-25 win. It was easily the biggest win in the ongoing championship.

Vikrant and G Jeeva Gopal, both from Warangal Warriors took the best raider and defender awards for their exploits. Meanwhile, buoyed by the spectator support, who cheered for the host, Hyderabad Bulls cashed in on post-break blunders of the flamboyant Nalgonda Eagles, who seemed lost after actually leasing 18-12 at half-time.

Best Rider Best raider K Hanmanthu and B Sridhar, best defender, were resolute in their techniques that saw them inch their way to an advantageous position. Eventually, Bulls registered a 35-29 verdict. Results: Hyderabad Bulls 35 bt Nalgonda Eagles 29 (Half-time: 12-18); Warangal Warriors 61 bt Mancherial Tigers 25 (Half-time: 26-12).
