Vijayawada: As a part of the smart policing as well as digitalisation of services and networking, the city police developed and launched www.cpdashboardvja@trakitnow.com to ensure transparency and accountability in delivering the services. The Dashboardvja was designed on par with the CM Dash Board to enhance the services and efficiency of the police department.DGP N Sambasiva Rao inaugurated the CP Dashboard at the Command Control Room at the AR Grounds here on Saturday.

Earlier, he personally verified the functioning of the CP Dashboard and greeted the police personnel for creating Dashboard with wide information. Speaking on the occasion, the DGP said that he was very much impressed with the Dashboard and its functioning.Later, Commissioner of Police D Gautam Sawang explained the details of the Dashboard. The DGP said the Dash Board contains the information of e-Raksha, reception centres, criminal information system, 4th Lion, criminal detection system and many other services.
Gautam Sawang said the police with the help of Criminal Detection System (CDS) can maintain big data base related to the criminals and offenders under the limits of the commissionerate. He said crime data of habitual offenders is stored and retrieved within minutes to speed up the investigation and keep a vigil on the culprits. He said information of criminals will be classified station wise in the city as part of the www.cpdashboardvja@trakitnow.com.
The Commissioner said Court Monitoring and Criminal Information System (CMS Blaze) will be very useful to get the Daily status reports of case proceedings, its results, 360 degrees crime data of the accused, complete history of the accused, complainant, witness etc.He further stated that data and details of the public prosecutors will be maintained and up to date information will be stored henceforth to speed up investigation as well as to get the past records of each public prosecutor i.e; how many cases he or she dealt, convictions and cases pending.
The Commissioner said e-Raksha, Dashboard contains information about accident spots in the city, ambulances details, hospitals, fire tenders, traffic jams to provide information to the common people. He said Rakshak and other vehicles patrolling the city to check road accidents or rescue the accident victims will be used in a proper manner to avoid time waste. He said with the help of real time monitoring system, all vehicles are connected to Control Room and instructions would be given to the vehicles to swing into action at the accident sites.
