(NASDAQ: GRMN) today announced the launch of Forerunner 935, Fēnix 5 series of smart-watches andtwo brand new vivo activity trackers- vívofitjr and vívosmart 3. Sleek, packed with featuresand powered by Garmin’s latest software, these multisport GPS smartwatches and fitness trackers enhance and promote active lifestyles. Garmin has also appointed NexG Devices Pvt. Ltd., subsidiary of a listed company, Media Matrix Worldwide Limited (MMWL) as their national distributor for their fitness and wellness products.

Athletes and adventurers come in all sizes and so does the Fenix series of smartwatches in 3 distinct models that vary in size to fit every wrist and every workout. One can choose from the sleek, smaller-sized Fēnix 5s, the compact Fēnix 5, or the full-featured Fēnix 5X, which comes loaded with full-colour onscreen mapping for at-a-glance navigation and location awareness. All 3 of these Fēnix watch designs offer a variety of stainless steel finishes, QuickFit™ watch band combinations, and premium feature sets to give you the look, performance and lightweight comfort to match both your aesthetic and athletic interests.

Fēnix 5 smartwatches are Wi-Fi enabled and compatible with Connect IQ, which means users can customize their watch face, add data fields and widgets that provide information at a glance. The three modelsboast common connected features like GPS with GLONASS support, 24-hour heart rate monitoring, a 3-axis digital compass, barometric altimeter and a host of multisport activity modes.When paired with a smartphone, the watches display call, text and email notifications. It comes with a “hidden display”, which is only visible when activated via gestures, alerts, or notifications.
