From Wii next year Nintendo to suspend Netflix

Netflix declared in its blog that its Netflix Channel on the Wii won’t be available to the new subscribers as of July 31, 2018. 

Nintendo's 12-year-old Wii console will stop supporting Netflix and other streaming services beginning next year.

The shutdown of the Netflix Channel will be along with the closure of the Wii Shop channel. Other video streaming services will be discontinued on the Wii after January 31, 2019.
