Bejjur (Adilabad): Sleuths of the Excise Department carried out raids on arrack manufacturing units in several villages of Bejjur mandal in the district on Friday and seized 6,800 litres of jaggery liquid and 1800 litres of hooch.
The raids were led by Excise Superintendent of Police Srinivasulu and DSP Karmachand in Chenchikapalli, Erampalli, Parugupalli, Lodupali and Konapalli villages. However, no arrests were made.
