Telangana TDP Working President Revanth Reddy on Friday demanded the disqualification of the party's four MLAs who migrated to TRS this week. Revanth Reddy wrote a letter to the Telangana Assembly Speaker where he opposed the party defections. The TDP MLA clarified that the party migration in the presence of TRS President K Chandrasekhar Rao is unconstitutional and opposed to democratic principles arguing that the 10th Schedule of Constitution of India along with the anti-defection law is being opposed.

He, therefore, requested the Speaker to disqualify Errabelli Dayakar Rao, T Prakash Goud, K Vivekananda and S Rajender Reddy from their legislative membership under the provisions of the Constitution.

On the other hand, the TDP MLAs who quit the party are seeking a merger with the TRS from the Speaker. Responding to this, Revanth Reddy said the merger with another party is not the judgement to be made by the Speaker and added that the TDP would take legal action against the Council Chairman for merging TDP MLCs with TRS.
