Narayankhed by-poll: TRS establishes an early lead

As the counting of votes started on Tuesday, the ruling TRS candidate M Bhupal Reddy established a lead in the Narayankhed by-poll in Telangana's Medak district. The Election Commission officials informed that by the end of the third round count, the TRS candidate was leading by 7,000 votes while P Sanjeeva Reddy of Congress was in the second place and TDP's Vijayapal Reddy at third.

With a total of 21 rounds counting, the result is to be declared by Tuesday afternoon. The Narayankhed by-poll held on Saturday witnesses 81.72 percent votes of the 1.88 lakh voters cast.
