Naneelu turning point in Telugu literature
Former Vice-Chancellor of Sri Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University Dr N Gopi said that vibrant style of expressing thoughts through quatrain – christened as Naneelu – is still shining at its best in the Telugu literary field.
Bhadrachalam (Khammam): Former Vice-Chancellor of Sri Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University Dr N Gopi said that vibrant style of expressing thoughts through quatrain – christened as Naneelu – is still shining at its best in the Telugu literary field.
He was speaking on Avirbhavam of Naneelu and Naneela Vishishtata in Telugu literature at a programme held at the Government Degree and PG College here on Saturday. He explained the salient features of expressing ideas through this style of poetry.
He released a book titled ‘Nanee Panchasati’ penned by noted poet Ch Chakravarti. Osmania University Telugu professor Dr S Raghu, Government Degree and PG College Principal and noted poet Ammina Srinivasa Raju and others took part in the programme.
