On Sunday, the Rajaka Seva Samithi organised a district-level meeting of washermen at the Town hall in the town. Addressing the gathering, Satyanarayana said that the families of the washermen were facing so many hardships.

In view of this, he said that he was appealing to Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and Minister for Information Technology and Municipal Administration K T Rama Rao to implement sanction pension to those washer women who completed 50 years of age.
