Nalgonda: The leaders and cadre of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) are appreciating the welfare schemes, development of the State and the administration of the party chief and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. But at the same time, they are expressing displeasure at KCR for ignoring to fill up the nominated posts in the district for the last years.

Along with the party leaders, those, who recently joined the party with the assurance of nominated post, also are eagerly waiting for the filling up nominated posts. Among the several minor and major nominated posts, all eyes are fixed on major posts like district library chairman, wakf board chairman, agricultural market committee chairman, major temples chairman and its directors and members.

Panduranga Rao, who was appointed as the district library president during Congress government tenure in united Andhra Pradesh, has been continuing in the same post after joining the ruling TRS. The remaining major nominated posts are yet to be filled. The political analysts felt that filling up the nominated posts is nothing but stirring up a hornet's nest and KCR has successfully managed to postpone the filling up of these posts for two years, showing elections.

In general, top brass leaders and important followers of district minister and ruling party MLAs will get the nominated posts. But the assurances given by the district minister and party MLAs to lure other party leaders to join TRS, as part of Operation Akarsh, are creating troubles now.

A tough fight is going on among the party Minority leaders for the district Wakf board chairman and it’s director posts. The same is the case with the chairman and directors posts for A grarde temples of Yadadri, Mattapally, Cheruvugattu, Darveshpuram and Macchagiri of Valigonda mandal.

Apart from these, several leaders have their eyes on agricultural market committee chairman posts which will have more distinctiveness than other posts. Earlier there were no reservations for the post of market committee chairman, but quoting ‘justice’ the TRS government has implemented rule of reservation in market committee chairman posts and further it is implementing women reservation.

There are 19 market committees in Nalgonda district and of these, Kodad, Devarakonda, Venkateswara Nagar of Mall Nalgonda, Nereducherla and Halia are allotted to OC general and Tirumalagiri, Chityal, Choutuppal, Nidamanoor market committees for OC women.

Miryalaguda is allocated for ST general, Suryapet for BC general, Huzurnagar for SC woman, Bhongir for ST general, Aler for BC women, Motkur for SC general, Voligonda for BC general, Chandur for ST general and Nakrakal is allocated for ST woman. It’s leant that Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has decided to appoint Dubbaka Narsimha Reddy and Shasidhar Reddy as chairmen of Nalgonda and Kodad agricultural market committees respectively, who contested and lost MLA seats in 2014 elections.

Meanwhile, party senior leaders Banda Narender Reddy, Chakilam Anil Kumar, Nomula Narsimhaiah, Mandula Samuel and Chinnapa Reddy are expecting cabinet rank corporation chairman post. The aspirants for the nominated posts are optimistic that these posts would be filled in the first quarter of the next year.
