Hyderabad: The two-day Indo-American Chamber of Commerce National Conclave, which was held with an aim to come out with a “Road Map to Increase India-US Trade to $ 500 billion,” concluded here on Saturday evening.

Delivering a keynote address, ahead of the panel discussion on banking and finance, Finance Minister Eatala Rejender said Telangana State had not only ranked very high on “ease of doing business index,” but also on “cost of doing business index.”

He highlighted various welfare schemes, such as Kalyana Lakshmi, development schemes, like Mission Bhagiratha, initiative to support industry, like TS iPASS (Telangana State Industrial Project Approval and Self certification system), etc.

Rajender told the gathering that Industries Minister K Taraka Rama Rao, who is currently touring America, met Edmund Jerry Brown, Governor of California.

The State government and California State had entered into an MoU for mutual cooperation in the field of non-conventional sources of energy. Several leading industrialists also addressed the two-day conclave.
