Nagam appeals for Land Acquisition Act for Mallannasagar oustees

BJP leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Monday addressed the issue of compensation to the oustees of the Mallannasagar project in Medak district.

Speaking to the media, Nagam Janardhan Reddy said that while he is not opposing Irrigation projects the compensation to the oustees should be paid under the provisions of the Land Acquisition Act, 2013 indicating land for land and house for house compensation.

The BJP leader further appealed the TRS government not to deceive the people by stating that the compensation would be more under the GO 123 than under the Land Acquisition Act.
