Hyderabad: BJP senior leader Nagam Janardhan Reddy on Monday claimed that he has a convincing evidence on corruption in irrigation projects in the state. Addressing a press conference here, Janardhan Reddy asserted that he is planning a Power Point Presentation to this effect; with which the chief minister would not dare to move out in public.

He asked chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao to face an enquiry on irrigation projects in the state. “I will prove in the court of law that there is corruption in the ongoing projects in Telangana,” said Nagam.

The BJP leader said that the TRS leaders were projecting him as anti-Telangana for raising the issue of corruption in irrigation projects. “I have approached the courts only to oppose corruption in the projects. The government has changed guidelines after calling tenders, which is against the rules, hence I went to court,” said Janardhan Reddy.

He said that he would take up the responsibility of bringing BJP into power in the state in 2019.
Replying to a question, Reddy said that the Centre was ready to divide high court but the state government was yet to provide alternative buildings for the new High Court.

He said that the chief minister was criticising BJP even after getting assistance from Centre. “If there was no BJP, Telangana wouldn’t have been possible and KCR would not have got the post of chief minister,” said Janardhan Reddy.
