The two brothers who were arrested along with nine others on Wednesday are engineering graduates with Mohammed Ibrahim Yazdani being the kingpin of this entire module.

While Shafi Armar was reported to have been killed, it is believed that he is alive and is operating remotely from an undisclosed place. The police informed that the 11 youngsters knew each other and had their practice sessions together at Barkas.

Sources revealed that the group had planned destructions including suicide bombing and massive gunfire at huge public gatherings during various festivals in the coming weeks to kill a maximum number of people.

The places targeted for the incidents to occur include IT corridor of Gachibowli, Hitech City and in Bangalore simultaneously.

The NIA has booked FIR on the five of the arrested who will be presented before the court on Thursday. Further questioning will be conducted after they are shifted to Delhi.
