270 potholes covered in a day
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has taken up road repairing works like filling of potholes and clearing water stagnation points on war footing and covered 270 potholes on Thursday.
Hyderabad: The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation has taken up road repairing works like filling of potholes and clearing water stagnation points on war footing and covered 270 potholes on Thursday.
GHMC Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy made a surprise inspection at Srinagar Colony and Punjagutta Model House. He also inspected the Begumpet Minority Commissioner’s office, Jubilee Hills Road No. 38 and Road No. 92, KBR Park among other areas.
Executive Engineer Ashok Reddy briefed the Commissioner about the works which have been taken up in Srinagar Colony. The Commissioner directed the engineering officials to complete road repairing works at Srinagar Colony within 10 days.
Officials informed him that road repairing works on 895m of the 1,295m were completed and the remaining would be done in 10 days. He was informed that repairing of this stretch of road was delayed due to problems like 132 KV electrical cabling works, water and sewerage works.
