Nalgonda: Dr Marri Chenna Reddy Human Resources Development Agency Professor Prasanna Kumar said that devotees would be allowed to bathing ghats after estimating enter and exit ratio to avoid any untoward incidents during the Krishna Pushkarams.

He, along with District Collector P Satyanarayana Reddy and SP Praksh Reddy, gave suggestions to district officials on crowd management during Krishna Pushkarams at a meeting held at the Collectorate meeting hall here on Friday.

He advised the officials to make necessary arrangements with regard to temple darshans and transport facility to the devotees to return to their home towns.

The officials told not to allow the devotees to break coconuts at ghat points to avoid injuries to other devotees.

He emphasised on maintaining free space between the groups of devotees at bathing ghats and addresses all possible issues during the holy dip in Krishna.

As a part of the programme, he gave a power point presentation (PPT) on crowd management in order to tackle the different situations to make Pushkarams a grand success.

District Collector Satyanaryana Reddy explained the arrangements made with regard to Pushkarams and ordered the officials to complete the pending works within a couple of days.
