Hyderabad: Former Maoist and gangster Mohammed Nayeemuddin used to behave in a very unnatural manner with minor girls. He used to drug, rape and kill minor girls for his pleasure, according to the confession statement by Nayeem’s cook Syed Farhana.

During interrogation, Farhana (30) revealed to investigators the unnatural behaviour and inhuman activities of Nayeem and his active role in human trafficking.

She reportedly told police that former Maoist Tech Madhu alias Thota Kumaraswamy was supplying weapons to Nayeem. He also used to sell new-born babies to Nayeem for trafficking. Nayeem had also drugged and killed several minor girls when they resisted sexual assault, Farhana told police.

“Madhu used to buy new-born baby girls from various places and sold them to Nayeem for trafficking. He used to drug minor girls and rape them.

He also tonsured Farhana when she tried to stop him from carrying out inhuman activities and he also killed several minor girls for denying sexual favours,” said Narsingi police in its custody petition submitted in the court, quoting Farhana’s confession on Friday.

Following Farhana’s confession, a team of SIT arrested Tech Madhu in Bhongir town on Friday and produced him in Aler court, which remanded him to 14-day judicial custody. Madhu had surrendered before police in 2006.

Madhu, according to police, was a technical expert in making weaponry. He confessed to police that he had manufactured around 1,500 launchers and 40 rockets before surrendering to police.

Madhu, who was named as Accused No 16 in the Arms Act case booked against Nayeem and his associates, reportedly supplied weapons to Nayeem for a long time. The automated guns and ammunition recovered from Nayeem were arranged by Madhu, according to police sources.

Subsequently, the police also arrested one Srihari, a close associate of Nayeem in Saidabad. Srihari was wanted by the police for a long time, before Sohrabuddin’s encounter took place.

He reportedly sheltered Sohrabuddin and his wife Kausar Bi in Hyderabad, before they were picked up and killed in an encounter by the Gujarat police in 2005.

Meanwhile, Director-General of Police Anurag Sharma issued orders stating that Kukatpally ACP N Bhujanga Rao would investigate the exchange of fire which occurred at Shadnagar on August 8, in which Nayeem was killed.
