As per the records of Indian Meteorological Department (IMD), Tuesday was the coolest day since September 30, 2011. The IMD has forecasted heavy rains for the next three days which is surely going to be a tough task for the civic department. Several parts of the city are inundated with water and traffic jams were witnessed causing havoc for the commuters.

Following the incessant rains on Tuesday, a building in Basheerbagh and a roof at Medchal collapsed leaving two injured. Keeping in view the IMD predictions, the state government has even decided to evacuate people from low-lying areas to safer places.
