Nalgonda: The missing Bhongir sub-jail Superintendent, Srinivas Rao, was traced in a private hospital in Khammam. It was said that he was undergoing treatment for weakness.

Based on allegations against Srinivas Rao and two guards, Kiran and Naveen, the police senior officials took departmental action against them. As part of the action, two days ago Srinivas Rao was shifted to Luxettipet of Adilabad district on deputation.

Srinivas Rao, who left his house at Teachers’ Colony in Bhongir town to Luxettipet on Tuesday night, went missing. He left a letter in his house, leveling allegations against senior officials of harassment which caused mental torture to him. He praised Chief Minister Chandrashekar Rao of taking up several measures to bring reforms in prison department and also mentioned the name of Director General of Prisons V K Singh. The family members found the letter on Wednesday morning and tried his phone which was switched off. They complained to the police, who after searching found the superintendent in Khammam.
