Water even entered houses, roads in apartment complexes were under three to five feet of water and few cars were even seen floating. Due to the incessant rains, three persons lost their lives. In rain-related incidents, a 55-year-old man died after a wall collapsed at Kompally, an electrician got electrocuted at Pragathinagar and another youngster succumbed to death after accidentally falling into drain water at Moulali.

Nizampet and Pragathi-Nagar were flooded with rain water and the residents along with the GHMC had to pump out the water.

According to the Met department, Telangana is likely to receive heavy rainfall over the next two days and is expected to be more than what it received on Tuesday night.
