Government offices coming up at a fast clip
Some of the posts at the state and the district levels have already been divided. While the posts of attenders, junior and senior assistants have been kept under the control of the District Collector, the posts of superintendents, assistant directors and directors and other higher level officials were being allocated by officials at the State level.
Nizamabad: The organisation of government offices in Kamareddy district is going on at a fast pace. The division of files and the allotment of furniture for various departments have picked up momentum. Even the allocation of employees in various departments is going on at a brisk pace and guidelines have already been prepared for allocating them.
Some of the posts at the state and the district levels have already been divided. While the posts of attenders, junior and senior assistants have been kept under the control of the District Collector, the posts of superintendents, assistant directors and directors and other higher level officials were being allocated by officials at the State level.
Additional Principal Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Office Shanti Kumari and the Distirct Collector Yogitha Rana toured various mandals in the district to inspect the works relating to the reorganizing the districts. The Collectorate is being stationed in the Gurukul School for the minorities. Saplings are being planted in the office premises. The office of the Superintendent of Police office is also being readied by next Monday.
There are a total of 3,370 posts in the Nizamabad district. While 2,270 employees were filled up, 1,100 posts are lying vacant. The remaining officers were working at the level of Superintendent, additional director’s and higher levels. The process of allocation of employees to various departments in the district has to be completed by Dasara festival.
The officers and the employees have to be allocated in various departments in Kamareddy district have to allocated in the ratio of 60: 40 through the lottery method and counseling. On the inaugural day of Kamareddy district, the departments of Revenue and the Police will be organised. Later, the employees will be adjusted in various departments and shifted to Kamaerddy.
However, the employees were facing anxious moments as there is still no clarity of their posting. There are reports that the employees would be allocated to Kamareddy on the basis of work to order and later, they will be sent on a regular order. They decided to keep the files relating to various departments in the old district itself.
District Collector Yogitha Rana has already instructed the officials that there should not be any irregularities in the allocation of employees in various departments and it should be done in a transparent manner. It has already been decided not to disturb working couples, physically handicapped staff and those suffering from ailments.
The staff have already brought this to the notice of the Chief Minister. Kamareddy is being readied to be upgraded into a district and it would be inaugurated by Agriculture Minister Pocharam Srinivas Reddy and the officials are leaving no stone unturned to make the government offices ready by Monday.
