Warangal: Traffic restrictions will be enforced in the city in view of the Chief Minister, K Chandrashekar Rao’s tour on Sunday.

The CM is scheduled to visit the city to present ‘Golden Crown’ to the presiding deity of Bhadrakali Temple here. The CM is expected to arrive here at 11 am along with his family members to fulfil the vow of presenting the crown to the deity and to offer special prayers.

The Deputy CM, K Srihari along with MP P Dayakar, GWMC Mayor N Narender, MLA D Vinay Bhasker, District Collector V Karuna, Commissioner of Police G Sudheer Babu, Municipal Commissioner Sarfaraz Ahmed visited the temple on Saturday.

He held discussions with the officials and legislators on arrangements to be made for the CM’s visit.

Police Commissioner Sudheer Babu informed that the police would impose traffic and parking restrictions. The devotees would be allowed to offer prayers but have to follow certain restrictions inside the temple until the CM leaves temple premises.

From 8 am onwards the devotees have to take the road from Alankar Talkies Junction, Kapudwada, Kapuwada and Veda Patashala to reach the temple. Similarly vehicles from Warangal would be diverted from MGM Hospital via Hunter Road.
