Justice Raja Elango of the High Court at Hyderabad admitted a writ plea filed by B Narasimha Reddy, a farmer from Nagireddipet mandal, saying that he was apprehending possible. He contended that he was being falsely implicated in the suicide case of Udavati Raju.

It may be recalled that Udavati Raju had committed suicide opposing the non-inclusion of Nagitreddypet mandal in Medak district and included it in the newly-formed Kamareddy district.

The petitioner complained that since he had been in the lead of the protest, the police were putting pressure on him and were also likely to implicate him in the case.

In fact, it is stated that he was arrested by the police when the body of the suicide victim was brought to Gandhi hospital and had to be released on personal bond.
