Amaravati: Unable to bear the harassment of professors, Dr.Sandhya, 26, attempted suicide in her room in Kannavarithota in Guntur city by taking excess dose of anesthesia. She was immediately rushed to the GGH and is undergoing treatment.
She was studying in the second year Diploma in Gynecology and Obstetrics (DGO) in the Guntur Medical College. Her course was about to be completed in six months and she was hard working and meritorious student too.

Even though, her condition is critical, the doctors are trying their best,” he added.
He also said that she never complained against any professor in the Guntur Medical College. ‘If her husband or family members lodge a complaint, we will conduct an inquiry,” he assured.
