Hyderabad: The Telangana School Education department has roped in corporate entities and reputed charitable foundations to bring in new work culture and to improve standards in school education covering students from class VI to X under Rashtriya Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan.

The department which has been focusing on imparting training to the teachers from the schools from secondary education level to bring change in their work culture has now roped in British Council which will train the teachers in language skills.

The Aga Khan Foundation has been asked to provide its expertise to train the teachers in leadership qualities and Deloitte, the prominent financial advisory, consulting, risk management and Audit Company has been asked to provide training to the teachers in best practices of management, team building and to achieve a dynamic culture for an improved inclusive collaboration to achieve high performance of the teachers,” the official said.

According to sources, so far 100 teachers have undergone the training and training for the remaining 80 to 90 teachers would be completed this week.

There are about 190 model schools in the State which are expected to be covered under a series of initiatives planned to improve teaching as well as learning experience for the students, he said.
