46-year-old woman succumbs to swine flu in Telangana
A 46-year-old woman succumbed to death on Friday at the Gandhi Hospital due to swine flu taking the death toll to 10 since August last year. Hailing from Bahadurpura, the woman was admitted into the hospital on January 16 and since had been undergoing treatment.

Officials at the Gandhi Hospital informed that four people have died due to swine flu in this month and all the victims were women. Health officials stated that a total of 3,033 samples since last August, out of which, 152 samples were found positive and have advised people to take all precautions particularly in the cold weather which has attributed to the rise of swine flu cases.
The health department has asked the hospitals to isolate people suffering from swine flu and also send their samples to the Institute of Preventive Medicine (IPM) in Hyderabad.
Symptoms like high fever, sneezing, cough and body ache are not to be ignored, advised the officials who added that people should approach the hospitals immediately.
