Hyderabad: TPCC working president Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka on Saturday alleged that the State government had failed to address issues concerning the common man during the recently concluded winter session of the Telangana State Legislature.

Speaking to media persons here, Bhatti pointed out that of the 95 hours for which the Assembly session functioned, Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao, IT Minister K. Tarakarama Rao and Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao spoke for almost 51 hours.

The Congress legislators could speak for just 19 hours and thus were denied opportunity to raise important issues.

The State government had failed to come up with a solution on problems being faced by the farmers and there was no commitment on clearance of dues under the crop loan waiver scheme, Bhatti said. The government had failed to give proper replies to the questions raised by opposition parties.
