TRS-backed Janardhan Reddy files nomination for MLC seat
Progressive Recognised Teachers Union (PRTU) leader K Janardhan Reddy, who is being supported by Telangana Rashtra Samithi, on Saturday filed his nomination papers for Mahbubnagar-Ranga Reddy-Hyderabad Teachers\' Constituency.

Deputy Chief Minister Mohammed Mahmood Ali, Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao, Transport Minister Mahender Reddy, MLA Srinivas Goud and other leaders were also present on the occasion.
Speaking to media persons later, Janardhan Reddy said he had been working for the welfare of teachers for a long time and successfully resolved several issues concerning teachers' community.
He thanked the TRS for supporting his candidature. Addressing a meeting later, Harish Rao appealed to the teachers to give first preferential vote to Janardhan Reddy.
