Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) MP Boora Narsaiah Goud made it clear that the allegations made by Nalgonda MLA Komatireddy Venkat Reddy against the State government were utterly false and mischievous.

Speaking to the media at the TRS Bhavan here on Sunday, Boora said Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao was extending full support to the caste occupations and introduced several schemes for the benefit of all BCs.

Condemning Komatireddy’s charge that Chandrashekar Rao was doing nothing to caste occupations, Boora demanded that Komatireddy tender apologies to the BCs.

The State government had distributed 40 crore fish seed for the fishermen’s community, he said and exuded confidence that rearing fish seed would result in Rs 4,000 crore benefits to that community.

He said the TRS government had decided to give lakhs of sheep and goats as there were around four lakh shepherds in Telangana State. “Komatireddy is not in a position to digest these facts and hence he is resorting to baseless allegations against the State government,” he said.

Asserting that the TRS government was filling light in the lives of fishermen’s community, Boora asked Komatireddy whether it was not a fact that the Congress earned notoriety for disturbing lives of toddy tappers in the State.

“Komatireddy has no interest in the development of BCs,” he said and reiterated that Chief Minister was committed to the uplift of the BCs.
