Where are the maps with new districts?

Consequently, many secondary school students are suffering; they were left blank during examination as they could not practice ‘map pointing’ of the new districts’. What’s more? Even officials at the Directorate of Government Examinations are clueless about the availability of maps marking the new districts.
Santosh of D V Krishna Book Depot, Monda Market informed, “Although the 31 districts of Telangana were divided long back, but we did not get the new practicing maps. Many students have asked for the map as they have to practice for their exams. We have got a Telangana general knowledge book which has a small map with all the 31 districts, so we ask the children to take a xerox copy of that but, they cannot practice on it.”
“When we inquired with the printing department they were clueless about it and told that they have not received any orders of printing the map,” he said.
When inquired about the same at other bookstores, we received the same response. One vendor said, “We may get it April or May.” When contacted an official at the Directorate of Government Examinations, on condition of anonymity told The Hans India that he was clueless if maps were available in the marker. He said that it was duty of Survey of India to release new maps. However, the official said that the new maps were available on the internet and students could download them by browsing different sites.
