Vigilance officer inspects various depts
Liakhat Ali, Vigilance Officer of Tourism, Sports, Youth Welfare, Culture and Archaeology Department, visited Mahbubnagar and took stock of functioning and development programmes undertaken by the department in the district on Thursday.

As part of his visit, Liakhat Ali, along with district officials first visited the Sports and Youth welfare Department and directed the concerned officials to take further steps to improve the functioning of the department. Later, he checked the records of Tourism Department in the Collectorate and inspected the Archaeology Department at Pillalamarri and took stock of activities being taken up for enhancing tourism in the district.
Reviewing the development activities at the ‘Eco-Tourism Park’ at Mayuri, the Vigilance Officer appreciated various developmental initiatives taken up by the District Collector with regard to improvement of tourism and sports. “District Collector has taken up various development activities to improve the sports and tourism sector. The pace of works going on is appreciable,” Ali said.
