Hyderabad: The venue to host the 16th plenary of Telangana Rashtra Samiti, Kompally has turned pink. This plenary assumes greater political importance as it would give a clear road map for the rank and file to gear up for the 2019 elections.

In a major change, the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao had decided to not allow the Ministers speak on resolutions this year.

According to party senior leaders, the Chief Minister is of the opinion that the Ministers get many opportunities both inside the Assembly and outside and hence the stage should be left for senior leaders of the party to propose and second the resolutions. The Chief Minister would be briefly intervening when required.

In all, seven resolutions would be taken up during the one day session. While seven leaders would propose the resolutions, seven others would second them.

As per the list, the planning board chairman Niranjan Reddy would talk on Agriculture, MLA Konda Surekha would talk on developing caste based professions, MLA Vemula Prashant on Mission Bhagiratha, MLC Palla Rajeshwar Reddy on Energy, MP B Vinod Kumar on development schemes, MLA P Venkateshwarlu on welfare, MLC Naradasu Laxman would speak on banning cards club, control on liquor and unwanted operations.
