MP, MLA raise funds for TRS plenary

Mahbubnagar:  To mobilise funds for the TRS plenary, scheduled to be held in Warangal on April 27, local legislator Srinivas Goud and MP Jitender Reddy on Thursday worked as a casual labourers and raised Rs 6.16 lakh. 

They cleaned the SVS hospital floor at Yenugonda on the outskirts of the town and received Rs 5 lakh from the hospital management. 

Similarly, they served snacks and tea at the Sindhu hotel in the town and received Rs 1.16 lakh as wages for the work done. The people’s representatives said the money so received would be spent for conducting the plenary.
