TRS NRIs descend on Hyd for plenary
Representatives of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) NRI wing from America, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Gulf countries took part in the party’s plenary held in Hyderabad on Friday.The NRI party wing coordinator Ganesh Bigala said the representatives from different countries will also be taking part in the mammoth public meeting organised in Warangal on April 27.
Hyderabad: Representatives of Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) NRI wing from America, UK, Australia, New Zealand and Gulf countries took part in the party’s plenary held in Hyderabad on Friday.The NRI party wing coordinator Ganesh Bigala said the representatives from different countries will also be taking part in the mammoth public meeting organised in Warangal on April 27.
The US wing TRS coordinator Mohan Goyal, UK wing leader K Anil, Australia representative Narender and Bahrain wing leader Satish submitted a report on party activities and membership drive launched in their respective countries recently to TRS president and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao in the meeting.The party leaders are working hard to spread Telangana culture in different countries and to strengthen the bonds between the communities, Ganesh said.The NRI wing leaders plan to attend all the programmes organised by TRS, in the State, every year.
The party is also planning to hold meetings in different countries to strengthen the base apart from conducting Telangana official festival Bathukamma in western countries.The Telangana Diaspora will also meet Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and extend an invitation to participate in Telangana celebrations being organised in their countries.
