Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday met Central Minister of Law & Justice Ravi Shankar Prasad and stressed on the importance of the Land Acquisition Act in the state developmental activities.

Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Monday met Central Minister of Law & Justice Ravi Shankar Prasad and stressed on the importance of the Land Acquisition Act in the state developmental activities.

Following the meeting, the Central Government has given its approval for the proposed Bill by Telangana and now would go to the President, thereby will be passed officially suppposedly in two weeks.

Telangana's Chief Advisor Rajiv Sharma informed that two changes were made in the proposed act by the Central government which will be implemented in the proposal and submitted to the President.

KCR has proposed the Land Acquisition Act to avoid delay in the development projects in the benefit of the state.
