Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao on Wednesday clarified that there was no threat to the Parade Grounds.

Clarifying the issue at a press conference at Pragathi Bhavan, KCR said that the government never asked for Parade Grounds. It had only requested the Centre to hand over the Bison Polo Grounds which is in about 55 acres.

The government proposes to construct iconic buildings consisting of Secretariat, Assembly and Kala Bharati. He said the government has no intention of disturbing the existing Parade Grounds or the Gymkhana Grounds.
