The IT hub will be built at the cost of Rs 12 crore across an area of 25,000 sft in the the premises of SR&BGNR College for the first phase.

KTR spoke to Telangana NRIs about setting up IT hubs in Khammam during his US tour. Speaking on the same, Khammam MLA Puvvada Ajay Kumar stated that once the IT hub is completed, 15 IT companies will begin operations in the IT hub which will be a gateway for unemployed youth to find jobs in Khammam district. 1,500 to 2,000 jobs would be created in the first phase of the IT hub.
