Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, South Central Railway (SCR)  inaugurated newly constructed staff quarters in the campus of 7th Battalion, Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF), Moula Ali on Friday.

Hyderabad: Vinod Kumar Yadav, General Manager, South Central Railway (SCR) inaugurated newly constructed staff quarters in the campus of 7th Battalion, Railway Protection Special Force (RPSF), Moula Ali on Friday.

Total 72 officers and staff quarters comprising Type-IV (08), Type-III (16) and Type-II (48) have been constructed providing amenities like huge parking place and greenery etc in the campus.

The battalion was raised at Lumding (Assam) over North Frontier Railway under the control of IGP of Assam and on 15.02.1973, this Battalion was withdrawn from the control of IGP/Assam and placed under Chief Security Commissioner/RPSF. In October 1994, the battalion Head Quarters was shifted to Moula-ali, Hyderabad. The battalion campus is spread over of 34.5 acres of land.

John Thomas, Additional General Manager; S.N. Singh, Principal Chief Engineer; N.V. Ramana Reddy, Chief Personnel Officer; Mahim Swami, IG-cum-Director/RPF Training Centre; Sanjay Sankrityayan, Chief Security Commissioner; Valleswara B.Thokala, Commanding Officer,RPSF,7th Battalion were present.

Officials also planted saplings in the premises of newly constructed railway quarters. Earlier, the General Manager inaugurated Brindavan Park at Railway Colony, Moula-ali.
