Hyderabad: JNTUH College of Engineering Hyderabad and Tata Consultancy Services Limited signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Saturday to facilitate collaboration between the two institutions on various aspects, enabling mutual benefit. The MoU will be in force for three years. V Rajanna, TCS vice-president and JNTUH Vice- Chancellor Prof A Venugopal Reddy signed the MoU in the chambers of the Vice- Chancellor.

Under the MoU, TCS shall support the JNTUH students and teachers through industry oriented workshops, faculty development programmes, student internships, student projects, student awards and research fellowships. The JNTUH will support TCS in its learning, hiring and research requirements based on mutual convenience.

Speaking on the occasion, Rajanna said, “TCS and JNTU have been working together for more than a decade and this renewal of the MoU reinforces our partnership. We will continue to work with JNTU in various dimensions, including Faculty Development Program (FDP)s, students work-shops, internships among other initiatives. TCS Research scholar programmme is also extended to JNTU Hyderabad” he added.
