Participating in Indira Run, organised by the Youth Congress here on Necklace Road on Sunday on the occasion of Indira Gandhi’s birth centenary celebrations, Raj Babbar opined that this sort of programmes would create awareness among the youth about Indira Gandhi.

Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N Uttam Kumar Reddy said every Congress activist should strive to achieve the aims of Indira Gandhi.

Indira Gandhi dedicated her entire life to keep the nation as a competitive one across the globe. Her efforts to keep the nation united were unforgettable, he said, and asked the youth to learn about Indira Gandhi to walk in her path. TPCC chief handed over the cash awards to the winners of 10K, 5K and 2K run competitions on the occasion.

Youth Congress State president M Anil Kumar Yadav thanked everyone for making the programme a big success by participating in huge numbers. There was a need to spread Indira’s aims among the youth, he stated and asked the youth to move forward taking Indira’s aims as model.

Congress Legislature Party leader K Jana Reddy, Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Council Mohammed Ali Shabbir, senior leader and MLC Ponguleti Sudhakar Reddy, former PCC chiefs V Hanumantha Rao, Ponnala Laxmaiah, former Union Minister Sarve Satyanarayana, MLA S A Sampath Kumar former Ministers Danam Nagender, Sunitha Laxma Reddy and others participated in the programme.
