The smile on the faces of nearly 140 young students and their guardians was distinctly visible for the entire Sunday morning, June 25. In a moving tribute that highlighted the purpose of the occasion, the three doctors stated that this was bringing them an inner joy as such a noble programme was being conducted during the Ramadan festivities, in fact on the eve of Eid.

New Steps Foundation has adopted Audiah Govt School. Brought together by the main promoters of the NGO, Kavita Jain and SamitaPandya, and initiated by their dedicated team members, the camp was earlier inaugurated by prominent social worker Shashikanth Agarwal in the presence of Manepalli Padmaja Rani.

They praised the Foundation personnel for coming forward with such an endeavour, which would help the families, who cannot afford medical treatment and medicines. Kavita Jain and SamitaPandya assured to continue with such programmes at periodical intervals besides contemplating initiatives that could go a long way in bringing smiles in the households of distraught sections of the society.

The elders were urged to take extra precautions as children were vulnerable to diseases during monsoon, which has already set in. What made the gathering unique was that after the tests and distribution of medicines, the youngsters had a sumptuous Sunday lunch with the doctors, staff of the school and all team members from New Steps Foundation.
