TDP to hold Athmeeya Sammelan in all constituencies
The TDP Telangana unit, which is trying to strengthen its base at the grass-root level, has decided to hold ‘Athmeeya Sammelans’ in all the 119 constituencies in the State.
Hyderabad: The TDP Telangana unit, which is trying to strengthen its base at the grass-root level, has decided to hold ‘Athmeeya Sammelans’ in all the 119 constituencies in the State.
The decision was taken at a meeting held with the party national president N Chandrababu Naidu here on Monday morning.
Talking to The Hans India, T TDP state president L Ramana said the prevaling political conditions in the state were discussed. He said Naidu also reviewed the various activities the State unit had taken up in the recent past.
He was of the opinion that the party State leaders should put in more efforts to strengthen the party at the grass roots level. He also felt that the leaders should take up intensive tour of various districts.
While appreciating the manner in which the leaders highlighted various aspects of Miyapur land scam, he felt that a there was need for a thorough review and discussion to work out a road map to revive the fortunes of the Telangana unit. He said that soon he would convene another meeting at Amaravati with leaders from Telangana State.
TTDP chief L Ramana, working president A Revanth Reddy, senior leaders Mothkupally Narsimhulu, Ravula Chandrasekhar Reddy, Garikapati Mohan Rao, Nama Nageshwara Rao and others attended the meeting.
