Malkajgiri Deputy Commissioner of Police Uma Maheshwar Sharma called upon people to actively participate in the Haritha Haram programme. He along with Kushaiguda Assistant Commissioner of Police Rafiq planted saplings at Dhamaiguda Government School on Thursday.

Speaking on the occasion, The DCP said, of the targeted 1 lakh saplings given to police department, 45,000 have been planted so far. Jawharnagar Circle-inspector Uma Maheshwar, school staff, students and parents took part in the programme.
