Hyderabad: The State government has released the notification for providing economic support schemes to the Schedule Caste (SC) candidates willing to set up small businesses. They can apply through online. Monetary support for enterprises to each candidate ranges between Rs 1 lakh and 10 lakh.

The economic support schemes include Rs 1 lakh for establishing boutiques business, Rs 5 lakh for bakery and sweet shop, Rs 3 lakh for beauty parlour, Rs 2 lakh book shop, Rs 5 lakh for cable TV, Rs 1 lakh for chicken shop, Rs 10 lakh for commodity supply,

Rs 10 lakh for contractor, Rs 3 eatery (Dhaba), Rs 8 lakh for DJ sound system, Rs 10 lakh for rice and dal mill, Rs 8 lakh for car taxi, Rs 1 lakh to Rs 5 lakh for animal husbandry and Rs 1 lakh to Rs 3 lakh for minor irrigation, etc.The candidates need to have relevant documents like Aadhaar card, Ration card, caste certificate and income certificate below Rs 2 lakh in urban and Rs 1.5 lakh in rural.

People who have all the above certificates can apply online through www.tsobmms.cgg and www.gov.in after submitting online they need to give two hard copies at SC office.

One copy will be with the officials and another copy with the bank for anapproval letter.The year 2017-2018 so far received 159 applications online. In 2016 -2017, 390 have been sanctioned 128 received the amount. Hyderabad district SC cooperation officer said, “Lead bank managers, Joint collector and Collector will give the final nod for the approval. The bankers issue a utilisation certificate after setting up the business.”
