Telangana Govt to fill 18,920 vacancies in Police department

A GO has been announced by the Telangana government regarding the vacancies in 18,920 posts in the state police department.

In view of the creation of new districts, the GO issued by finance secretary Shiva Shankar has announced the state additional vacancies which have been created.
The vacancies include 143 in communications, 599 posts under ministry 9,629 posts in civil department, 5,738 posts in Armed Reserve and 106 posts in other departments.
29 ministerial employees working in the state police headquarters were given orders of promotion by the DGP Anurag Sharma while 10 Senior Assistants were promoted as Senior Superintendents and 19 Junior Assistants as Senior Assistants.
