Depressed with wife's abandonment, man commits suicide
A 31-year-old man committed suicide on Sunday at Uppal, Hyderabad. The man identified as K Yakaiah married Ravali on June 18 this year but she left home on July 21 on the pretext of visiting a friend.
A 31-year-old man committed suicide on Sunday at Uppal, Hyderabad. The man identified as K Yakaiah married Ravali on June 18 this year but she left home on July 21 on the pretext of visiting a friend.
However, with his wife not returning home, he lodged a complaint with the police the next day. Later, his wife called Yakaiah to tell that she wants to be with her lover and won't be coming back to him.
Depressed with the fact of his wife abandoning him, Yakaiah consumed poision. He even walked up to the police station and collapsed in front of it. The police rushed him to a hospital but he was declared brought dead.
Yakaiah's family alleged that his wife harassed him from the beginning of their marriage and said that while he waited for her to change, she went up to an extreme causing his death."
Police have booked a case of abetment to suicide against Ravali and are trying to trace her.
