Akun Sabharwal meets DGP

​Hyderabad: In a sudden development, Director of Excise Enforcement Akun Sabharwal met Director General of Police Anurag Sharma on Monday.

According to sources, during the ten-minute meeting Akun Sabharwal had briefed DGP about the progress of SIT investigation into the drug case. The issue of Excise Director receiving threatening calls was also discussed.

Amongst other issues that figured include, the measures that need to be taken for better coordination between various law enforcing agencies, so that all accused involved in the racket are brought to book.
