The High Court  on Monday has admitted two appeals filed by the Telangana State government against the acquittal of Mohammed Omar Bin Yafai alias Mohammed Pahelwan and other accused involved in the case of murderous attack on AIMIM leader and MLA AkbaruddinOwaisiby the Nampally court.

Hyderabad: The High Court on Monday has admitted two appeals filed by the Telangana State government against the acquittal of Mohammed Omar Bin Yafai alias Mohammed Pahelwan and other accused involved in the case of murderous attack on AIMIM leader and MLA AkbaruddinOwaisiby the Nampally court.

It may be recalled that AkbaruddinOwaisiwas going on a padayatra in Chandrayangutta in the year 2011 when he was attacked.

The division bench admitted the two appeals. In one of the appeals, the acquittal Mohammed Pahelwan and others was challenged by the State.
