A woman from Mahbubnagar has finally broken free from being tortured by the Arab Sheiks for six months in Saudi Arabia and returned to Hyderabad on Tuesday.

The woman, identified as Ayesha Bi had gone to Saudi in a hope to earn more money. A broker named Gouse informed that a family will pay her Rs 18000 per month for the household chores and soon appointed her as a house maid to the family.

However, after working for a month, the Sheikh family refused to pay her and even tortured her by not allowing her to sleep nor give any food. Fed up with the constant harassment, Ayesha escaped from the house but was later caught and confined in a room where she was tortured repeatedly.

She managed to contact her brother and a social activist in Saudi following which she was rescued with the help of city police. After returning to Hyderabad, Ayesha thanked the police for bringing her back home.

Ayesha however managed to inform the matter to her brother and a social activist in Saudi, who rescued her with the help of city police and brought her back to Hyderabad. Speaking to the media on Tuesday, Ayesha thanked the police for helping and bringing back her to the city.
