AFMI invites Harish Rao for convention in Chicago
Recognising the efforts made by Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao in the revival of water bodies under Mission Kakatiya, American Federation of Muslims of Indian Origin (AFMI) extended invitation to the Minister to attend convention organised with a theme on the emerging challenges to India ‘Secularism and Pluralism’ on October 7 in Chicago.
Hyderabad: Recognising the efforts made by Irrigation Minister T Harish Rao in the revival of water bodies under Mission Kakatiya, American Federation of Muslims of Indian Origin (AFMI) extended invitation to the Minister to attend convention organised with a theme on the emerging challenges to India ‘Secularism and Pluralism’ on October 7 in Chicago.
In a letter to Harish Rao, the AFMI national president Razia Ahmed appreciated the Minister for the dedication and visionary approach to tackle the problems. She praised the Minister for personally supervising the implementation of the flagship programme, Mission Kakatiya, and restored nearly 17,000 irrigation tanks and provided water for 16 lakh acres which has transformed the rural economy.
